The Unrelenting Blaze is the second adventure in the Peaks of Time campaign. It unlocks upon completing stage 7-4 in the main campaign and at least 60% of Ranhorn's Strife.

The player will receive an elite Raine, in addition to enhancement tokens, rare and elite gear, gold, diamonds, faction scrolls, and Hero's Essence.

Transcript[]

[Start of Level]

Objective Log: We arrived in the forest only to discover our passage had been blocked by a great wall of fire.

Ulric: Commander, we have just received news from one of our scouts. A blaze burns fiercely within the Bastion of the Elements, preventing safe passage through it. The cause of the blaze still remains unknown.

Hogan: We don't have time to go around the blaze. We'll find out who or what caused it and extinguish it we must. We must pass through, there's no other choice.

[Upon interaction with the tomes]

Ancient Tome (Left): The Bastion of the Elements, a place where nature and magic collide. Each element contains its own potent magical force. Thus to control these forces of nature, the oracles of the forest created the four orbs, the orb of water, fire, wind, and earth. With the creation of the orbs came the birth of a long, tranquil peace within the forest. A balance between the elements had been established.

Objective Log: We learned of the four elemental orbs from an ancient tome. Perhaps the fire is related to them? Investigation is required.

Hogan: Perhaps it was one of the elemental orbs that caused the blaze. We must get to the bottom of it.

Ancient Tome (Right): Legend has it, those who touch the four elemental orbs will receive their blessings. Only those that possess the four blessings of the elements are permitted entry to its hidden area.

Objective Log: We have learned from the ancient tome that receiving all four blessings of the elements will reveal a hidden area. What could it be talking about?

[Upon restoring the amulet of water]

Objective Log: We have restored the Orb of Water and received its blessing.

Belinda: I have restored the orb!

Hogan: The fire is weakening. It should be safe enough to pass through the Bastion of the Elements.

Belinda: But yet it still burns... meaning there is something else afoot.

[Upon restoring the amulet of wind]

Objective Log: We have touched the orb of wind and received its blessing.

[Upon restoring the amulet of earth]

Objective Log: We have touched the orb of earth and received its blessing.

[The first attempt at restoring the orb of fire]

Objective Log: The Orb of Fire has been corrupted by some kind of demonic magic. It has to be the cause of the fire, there is no doubt. The demon that corrupted it must be slain.

Hogan: The Orb of Fire looks peculiar.

Belinda: I fear it has been tainted. I sense a demonic presence emanating from within it. This is undoubtedly the cause of the blaze. Killing the demon that corrupted the orb should restore it to its original state.

[Upon beating enemy camp 10]

Objective Log: We managed to over power the demon, but the darned thing escaped before we could bring it to justice. The fire still burns. We must pursue it.

[Upon beating enemy camp 11]

Objective Log: The demon is dead. The fire is no more. The Orb of Fire seems to have been restored to its former state.

Belinda: The orb has been restored to its former self. The blaze rages no more.

[Upon restoring the Orb of Fire]

Objective Log: We have received all four blessings of the elements. Their powers are now a part of us and a new hidden area has been revealed to us.

Hogan: We've been blessed by all four of the orbs.

Belinda: I feel strange magical fluctuations emanating from that direction, as if something is revealing itself to me.
