- Originally, skins awarded heroes a bonus in their attributes. This feature has since been removed.
- Brutus is the first hero to receive a skin.
- Niru is the only legendary tier hero to have a skin.
- Despite not being a playable character, Dolly has unique skins that can be applied to her. Furthermore, she is the first and so far only character to have more than one skin.
- Rosaline's "The Lost Dreamer" skin was first available via pre-order of the Concept Art Album. It is the first and so far only skin available through purchase of real life merchandise.
- Lucretia's The Resplendent Dancer skin changes appearance when she transforms, going from a purple color scheme to a red one. Her outfit and hair also becomes more thorny and rose-like.
- Both Baden and Grezhul have skins that depict them as they were before becoming a Graveborn.
