Fight of Fates is a recurring event available from February 18, 2022 to February 24, 2022. The event pits players against each other in a strategic card-based battle build your deck from a selected pool of hero and skill cards and face off your opponents.

Guide

  • When entering the event for the first time, players will be given a differing number of initial points, which is based upon the player’s current campaign progress.
  • During this event players can choose which cards are used in their deck of cards. Each deck can comprise of 5 hero cards and 6 effect cards.
  • In this event players can only choose from heroes which they already own, and that are “Rare” with a tier rating of Legendary or higher. Dimensional heroes are not subject to hero tier rating restrictions, and any Dimensional hero the player possesses may be used. Some heroes and Awakened Heroes are temporarily unavailable for this event.
  • There shall be 10 additional heroes available for all players to choose from, which are not impeded by any restrictions.
  • One of the five heroes shall be selected as a Vanguard Hero. The Vanguard Hero will automatically enter the battlefield first when a battle commences. When a Hero Card’s cooldown time has ended, it can then be freely placed on the battlefield.
  • During battles, both players will start with 0 Energy in their respective Gems of Dawn, which will gradually increase over time. The maximum Energy points a Gem of Dawn may have is 9.
  • Players can consume Gems of Dawn Energy to cast a variety of different effects with their Skill Cards.
  • Players can choose to fight competitively against similarly ranked players or spar with their guildmates and friends.
  • All heroes used are level 300, Ascended tier heroes.
  • By default, all heroes are equipped with unenhanced Mythic T2 gear that does not receive factional gear bonuses.
  • All heroes are equipped with a level 30 Signature Item by default.
  • All heroes are equipped with 9 pieces of Mythic Exclusive Furniture.
  • All heroes have level 60 Elder Tree attributes and skills by default.
  • Heroes do not make use of any Artifact attribute bonuses or Union Attribute Bonuses.
  • Sparring with friends and guildmates does not affect a player’s leaderboard points and does not grant any rewards.
  • If a battle times out, the player with the most remaining heroes shall be victorious. If both sides have the same number of heroes left, the player with the highest percentage of total health of heroes will win.
  • Players can complete daily requests to acquire rewards. By completing more quests during the event, players can acquire even greater rewards.
  • Players that obtain a top 1000 rank on leaderboard shall win a Fortune Chest that contains large amount of Diamonds. Guilds can obtain a maximum of one Fortune Chest. If multiple guild members obtain a rank, the Fortune Chest will be based upon the highest ranked member.

Tutorial Transcript

  • When in battle, the Vanguard Hero enters the battlefield first.
  • Skill cards will consume the energy of "Gems of Dawn", and the points consumed are displayed in the upper left corner of the card.
  • Hero Cards are unlocked over time. Once unlocked, they can be used on the battlefield to summon heroes without the need to spend "Gems of Dawn".
  • Once a hero's cooldown time has ended, a hero can be manually dragged onto the battlefield to help in the battle.
  • Three hero cards can be used per battle. Defeat all three of the opponent's heroes to be victorious.
  • Edit your card deck before the battle officially starts.
  • When editing your heroes, 1 "Vanguard" hero must be selected as well as 4 "Back-up" heroes. When a battle begins you can choose to begin with a hero from the "Back-up" list.
  • 6 Skill Cards must be selected for each Card Set. The cards will then randomly be drawn during battle.

Quests

An activity point.

By completing quests, Activity points can be accumulated. Activity points allows you to unlock activity crates, which contain Reward Choice Chests (Gold, Hero Experience, or Hero's Essence). The final crate contains 10 Common Scroll.

Each deck may contains 5 hero cards, one of which is designated as the "vanguard hero". The vanguard enters the battlefield first at the beginning of each fight.

Players may choose from the highest-ranked heroes that they own. 10 additional heroes are available, regardless of if the player owns these heroes or not.
