"Embark on an expedition and restore order to the world."

The Abyssal Expedition is a temporary event located in the Dark Forest and is available after beating stage 15-40. Players can conquer the lands, acquire noble titles and obtain various rewards based on their progress within their own guild and another guild as well. The event revolves around working together as a guild and fighting against NPC enemies and bosses.

Before the start of the event, players will be able to enroll into the Abyssal Expedition in either Normal mode or Honorable mode. Both modes are the same but players will be grouped accordingly to which mode they selected. The Normal mode cost nothing as opposed to the Honorable mode, which costs 3000 diamonds.

Once the event has started and the player has joined it, the player will be part of a Militia. Militias are composed of multiple guilds which get their own chat for easier communication.

Honorable Enrollment

  • Honorable Enrollees are required to spend Diamonds.
  • Honorable-enrolled players will only be placed with other Honorable players during the event, and shall not encounter any Casual players.
  • Difficulty for the Vault of Time for Honorable Enrollees is more difficult than Casual. However, Honorably Enrolled players shall receive more rewards for ranking up their Titles. Players that reach the title of Duke and Prince will receive an additional reward of Diamonds.
  • Only Honorably Enrolled Militias may compete on the leaderboard.
  • Once enrolled for an Honorable expedition, the decision cannot be reverted.

Map

The map for the September 2021 Beta expedition.

Players can access a map in order to view any tiles they have specifically marked, or to view their own camps, their allies camps, the entrance to the next section of the map, locked regions, and the location of the bosses. Tapping anywhere on the map will bring the player to the location to scope it out before battling their way there.

The map is split into sections: The Lush Plains, The Burning Steppes (Accessed if the player chose the Morael starting point), The Rocky Slopes (Accessed if the player chose the Desira starting point), The Frozen Plains (Accessed if the player chose the Eluard starting point), The Outlands, and the Forbidden Sphere.

In the September 2021 Beta expedition, players are given a choice between three different starting points, with each having up to 24 players. The Eluard starting point will have the players face Eluard as the first gate boss and Grotesque Mage as the second gate boss in The Frozen Plains. The Desira starting point will have the players face Desira as the first gate boss and Ice Shemira as the second gate boss in The Rocky Slopes. Finally, the Morael starting point will have the players face Morael as the first gate boss and The Unhinged as the second gate boss in the Burning Steppes.

Each starting point group will come together to defeat the final boss: The Balancer.

Rewards

Every time the player reach a new title, they can immediately claim the following rewards. To claim the honorable rewards, the player must have enrolled into that mode before the start of the event.

For rewards obtained by successfully completing Militia Accolades, members of the Militia can spend Dragon Crystals to purchase discounted rewards. Spent Dragon Crystals will appear as a "Militia Chest" and be distributed to all Militia members.

Honorable Rewards

  1. Rewards displayed here are an indication of your final session rewards, which are determined by the highest amount of damage you have currently dealt, as well as you current ranking. The final amount of rewards you receive will be determined at the end of the session and may differ slightly from the number bellow.
  2. Once the event has concluded, members belonging to Militias that are ranked high on the Militia Damage Leaderboard shall receive avatar frame rewards, which shall be sent to the player's inbox.
  3. If a highly ranked Militia meets the Guild Member quantity requirements, that guild shall receive a decorative Guild Statue reward which can be placed in their Guild Grounds.
  4. A Militia's member's guild details are confirmed once they enter the expedition map. If a guild member leave their guild after this point, this action will not affect the final outcome when Guild Rewards are delivered.
  5. Only one Honorable Statue can be claimed per guild per Expedition season. If two Militias belonging to the same guild both meet the guild reward requirements, the final reward shall be based upon the Militia with the highest ranking.

Militia Honors

  • Militia Honors shall become available during the Vault of Time event.
  • Each time a player raises their Title they shall receive Legion Merits as a reward.
  • After accumulating a certain quantity of Legion Merits, the next tier as well as its rewards will become available.
  • Unlocking the premium pass will reward you with 980 VIP experience points and premium pass rewards.
  • Militia Honors will become unavailable when the Vault of Time event ends.
  • Any Militia Honors rewards that were unlocked by the player, yet still remain unclaimed will be sent to the player's mailbox when Island Survival ends.

Legion Merits

Acquired by raising Title ranks within the Vault of Time, and used to unlock Militia Honors rewards.

Each Title achieved rewards the player with 100 Legion Merits.

Battlepass

The Militia Honors Battlepass can be purchased for $14.99 USD. It grants the player extra rewards, including 7 Reward Choice Chests, 10 Stargazer Scrolls, 600 Elemental Shards, and 300 Elemental Cores.

Blessed Relics

Main Article: Abyssal Expedition/Blessed Relics

There are 5 Core Relics, one for each class: Warrior, Tank, Ranger, Mage and Support. The player can level up the Core Relic by activating six lesser Blessed Relics. Leveling the Core Relic also unlocks Unique skills. By doing so, the heroes in the player's Expeditionary Forces gain Relic Bonuses.

Through the use of Relic's Soul, a hero can receive the effects of the highest Class Relic, greatly increasing the power of the hero which equips it.

Name Description
Health (HP) Hit Points determine how much of a beating a hero can sustain.
Attack (ATK) Attack determines how much damage your hero puts out.
Defense (DEF) Defense reduces the amount of physical and magic damage your hero sustains.
Crit Rating (CRIT) Critical strikes allow you to deal double damage.
Accuracy (ACC) The higher your accuracy is the more chance you have to hit your target.
Dodge (DODGE) The higher your dodge is the more chance you have to evade enemy attacks.
Haste (MSPD) Affects casting and attack frequencies. A higher value will result in a higher attack frequency and attack animation.
Crit Amplification (CA) Critical Strike damage multipliers are based on the difference that exists between an attacker’s “Crit Amplification” value and a defender’s “Crit Resistance” value. If the Attacker and Defender have a point difference of 30 points or less, each point difference will alter the Critical Strike’s damage multiplier by 0.5%. If the difference between an Attacker’s Crit Amplification and a Defender’s Crit Resistance exceeds 30 points, each point will alter the Critical Strike’s multiplier by 2%. In total, the Critical Strike’s multiplier can be increased or decreased by a value of 75%.
Crit Resistance (CR) Critical Strike damage multipliers are based on the difference that exists between an attacker’s “Crit Amplification” value and a defender’s “Crit Resistance” value. If the Attacker and Defender have a point difference of 30 points or less, each point difference will alter the Critical Strike’s damage multiplier by 0.5%. If the difference between an Attacker’s Crit Amplification and a Defender’s Crit Resistance exceeds 30 points, each point will alter the Critical Strike’s multiplier by 2%. Insight (IS) When a defender’s “Tenacity” value exceeds that of an attacker’s “Insight” value, a higher chance of resisting the attacker’s control ability is granted to the defender. Defenders gain a 2% chance to resist an attacker’s control ability for every 1 Tenacity point they have that exceeds the total value of the attacker’s Insight points.
Tenacity (TY) When a defender’s “Tenacity” value exceeds that of an attacker’s “Insight” value, a higher chance of resisting the attacker’s control ability is granted to the defender. Defenders gain a 2% chance to resist an attacker’s control ability for every 1 Tenacity point they have that exceeds the total value of the attacker’s Insight points.

The Blessed Relics can be obtained by from Territories, by using Blessed Essence or by combining Relics together. Territories can drop Relics depending on it's Tier (from Common to Legendary Relics).

Relic's Soul

  • The Relic's Soul receives the effects of the highest Class Relic, greatly increasing the power of the hero which equips it.
  • The hero that equips the Relic's Soul gains all of the max attributes that their class relic can attain.
  • When the highest set of class relics is activated, the hero equipping the Relic's Soul shall also have their corresponding relics be activated.
  • Only 1 hero per team may equip and use the Relic's Soul in battle.
  • The Relic's Soul can be equipped on the battle preparations page.

Soul Bond

Background

Ancient tests mention an old demonic ritual called "Soul Bonding". Two souls would become intertwined by undergoing a brutish and gory ritual, linking not only their souls but also their destinies. The purpose of this ritual was said to allow the demonic creatures to become stronger in life than they ever could have been. But, as a consequence of soul bonding, when one of the souls suffer harm, so does the other.

Guide

  • When Soul Bonding is in effect, slaying a boss will cause the other bonding boss to lose 50% of their max health. However, the bonding boss shall not die as a result of this damage and shall retain at least 1 Health point.
  • Damage that is dealt as a result of Soul Bonding will be displayed on the Militia Damage Leaderboard but shall not be displayed on the individual player damage leaderboard.

Stars of Dawn

This feature was introduced in the September 2021 Beta.

  • The 10 players with the highest Combat Ratings will be displayed as Stars of Dawn. Each Star of Dawn player can be spectated by 1 other Militia member.
  • All militia members may apply to become spectators.
  • Spectators may only apply after enrollment ends and within the first 24 hours from when battles commence.
  • Spectators cannot participate in battles, but can still receive rewards. Title rewards will become available for spectators when the Star of Dawn player they are supporting levels up.
  • Each Spectator boosts overall Stamina Recover Rate for Militia members by 1.2%
  • Each Spectator gives their Star of Dawn player 10% Stamina Recovery Rate.
